 Washington State
Up here is Washington State, there are so many beautiful places to ride. Highway 20, Lake Chelan, Yakima Valley, Hurrican Ridge, Whidbey Island & Deception Pass. Western half of the state has Puget Sound and is very green, on the eastern side of the Cascades it's very dry and desert-like in some places, wheat fields as far as you can see in other sections.

 Re: Washington State
Sherry,
Judy and I spent 16 years in Spokane and loved every inch of Washington State! Unfortunately we were not riding then like we are now. I know the South East (Polouse) portions of the state are beaultiful as well as the Pan Handle of Idaho, but I do not know any specific routes through there.
Maybe someday soon!!

 Re: Washington State
Last summer I took Highway 12 from Walla Walla, WA through Idaho and it was a nice road with beautiful scenery right along a river (name of the river escapes me). There were lots of camping resorts and motels along the way also. One of the most scenic roads I've been on.
