Virginia/North Carolina - Blueridge Parkway
If you are looking for a mountain ridge to ride on the east coast this would be it. The Blueridge Parkway runs from the Smokies into central Va and climbs to 6000 feet at it's highest points.
There are some great spots along the way that cater to motorcyclists from campgrounds to
Fox Creek Leather. Take a jacket casue the elevation change can bring a big difference in temps.
Other places to visit along the way are The Natural Bridge and Loray Caverns. Here is a great website for the
